Soil Sisters: putting the WLA on the map in Suffolk

It’s with great delight that I share the work of Nicky Reynolds and Vicky Abbott who have led the project ‘Soil Sisters: putting the WLA on the map in Suffolk’.

As part of this Nicky, Vicky, and a team of volunteers have produced an informative online exhibition on the work of the Women’s Land Army in Suffolk.

They’ve also created an interactive map on History Pin, which plots the stories of Suffolk Land Girls in the county.

Please do take a look through both of these resources as they provide a wealth of information on the work of the WLA in Britain and in Suffolk.
