National Service of Thanksgiving, Llandaff Cathedral

The Welsh Government is helping to organise a National Service of Thanksgiving for the 80th anniversary of VE-Day.

‘We are looking to invite veterans of the Second World War and also those who worked on the Home Front and Land Army, as well as families of Land Girls in Wales.

Their contribution and memories are just as important as those who fought in the war and we’d very much like to reflect this at the service. The service is at 6.00pm on Wednesday 7 May at Llandaff Cathedral in Cardiff.
